6 Days, 5 Nights Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli Midrange Safari

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

The tour will begin with a 07:30 hrs pick up from the hotel or airport and head straight to the Mara. The drive to Mara should be about 6 hours, depending on the traffic. You will have a stop at the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment for a breathtaking view, photography and a bathroom break. Proceed with your drive, arriving in Mara just in time for lunch. Check in at Mara Sopa Lodge and have your lunch before proceeding for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is well known for its vast wildlife range, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos and many more. After the game drive, head back to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara full day

On this day, get to spend the whole day in the park in search of the big five and other resident animals like the zebras, giraffes, gazelles, hyenas and the endless species of birds. After breakfast, leave the lodge with packed lunch, and have game drives for most of the morning hours till noon. Our tour guide will then take you to a picnic spot where you will have your lunch, and after that, continue with the game drives and later on head back to the lodge for an evening meal and overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out of your Masai Mara Sopa Lodge and depart for Lake Naivasha, which is a 5-hour drive from the Mara. Check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa resort for lunch, then head out to the Lake for a boat ride experience as well as the Crescent Island visit - which is a guided walking safari where you get to see zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, antelopes and wildebeests up close and in their natural habitats. Later on, return to Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

Your day begins with a beautiful view and breakfast on your balcony as you soak in the fresh air and the chirping of the birds. After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and head to Amboseli National Park which should be a 5-hour drive. Your estimated time of arrival should be in time for lunch. Check-in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, have a hot meal accompanied by some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive which lasts for two hours then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Amboseli Full Day

Wake up early in the morning and proceed for a game drive at 6 am. (This is considered the best time to see animals, possibly a hunt or kill and also catch the sunrise with the beautiful backdrop of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Head back to your camp at around 0900hrs for breakfast and relax at the hotel, enjoying its facilities. Enjoy lunch and afterwards head out for an afternoon game drive in this magnificent park. Enjoy herds of elephants, hundreds of wildlife species and other resident wildlife as they graze and enjoy being in their natural habitat. Later, after an amazing drive, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli back to Nairobi

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out of the lodge and head back to Nairobi. Along the way, stop for a quick lunch and continue with your journey to Nairobi. Arriving late in the afternoon, drop off will be at the airport or a hotel of your choice.
